Coming to church worship for the first time—or the first time in a long time—can be stressful and frightening. We understand and want to make visiting Maranatha Baptist a pleasant experience. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact us by phone, email, postal mail, or in person.

There are two entrances to the church from the parking lot. The entrance on the north side is a drive up entrance that is covered and handicap accessible, and enters the upstairs level near the sanctuary. The entrance on the west side enters into the lower level, where the children’s Sunday School classes and nursery are located. There is a chair lift for those needing assistance with the stairs. The welcome center is just inside the sanctuary doors to the left.

The Bible teaches us that God is more concerned with our heart than with our clothes. At Maranatha, we simply invite you to come and dress however you feel comfortable. You will discover that at Maranatha, our people are warm, friendly, and relaxed.

You will find the music, which is led by our praise band and worship team, to be uplifting and glorifying. The style of worship is blended with music ranging from traditional hymns to today’s contemporary praise songs.

On Sunday mornings, you will receive a worship bulletin as you enter the Worship Center. It contains information about upcoming events at Maranatha. You will find an insert with an outline of the Pastor’s message in it, complete with Bible passages. You may also want to use it for further study when you get home.  The messages are biblical and made relevant for today, helping to not only have understanding, but also transformation allowing us to be more like Christ.
